Abstract

Hyperspace Pareto Frontier (HPF), the first concept designed under the newly proposed paradigm of Hyper-Space Diagonal Counting (HSDC), is applied to multiobjective optimization problems for design concept selection. HPF is used to visualize n-dimensional performance space in an intuitive and straightforward manner. In this paper, we use the HPF based visualization for design concept selection, by presenting an approach to quantify and interactively visualize the goodness of each design concept in accordance with the designer's preferences.
