Abstract

Management of intracranial pressure is of prime concern during anesthesia in a patient with closed head injury. Many intraoperative manipulations may adversely affect control of intracranial pressure. A case is described in which thoracic aorta cross-clamping resulted in a sudden increase in both arterial and intracranial pressure.
