Abstract

The low-temperature magnetoresistance of narrow GaAs/AlGaAs wires has been measured down to 80 mK at magnetic fields of up to 8.5 T. Analyzing the amplitude and correlation field of the universal conductance fluctuations in the low-temperature magnetoresistance, we study the magnetic field dependence of the conductance fluctuations in a mesoscopic narrow wire system. Conduction network paths in narrow wires have been resolved using Fourier analysis of the low-field magnetoresistance.
