Abstract
By means of the operator algebra first introduced by Larsen, we have obtained the ground-state energy of an interface polaron in a semi-infinite polar crystal in magnetic fields of arbitrary strength. Both the bulk longitudinal optical and surface optical phonons and their interactions with the applied magnetic field are included in our calculation. The results of a numerical example are discussed.
