HIV-testing. More questions than answers.

Research output: Contribution to journal › Review article › peer-review

Abstract

Should all dental patients be screened for HIV antibody status, or should only specific individuals be tested? Will the result of a patient's HIV test change treatment procedures, or is there no advantage to testing patients? Many questions need to be answered prior to institutional HIV testing for dental patients.
