Abstract
GEO-HYMS is a modeling support system that integrates a hydrodynamic/mass transport model within a geographic information system (GIS) framework. It consists of five components: a GIS-based spatial/temporal data management system, an integrated hydrodynamic/mass transport modeling system, a data-model management interface, analyst support tools, and an interactive user interface. Example applications to Lake Ontario are presented to show system capabilities.
