Abstract

A study was performed on flux pinning enhancement in superconducting and ferromagnetic thin-film multilayers. An improvement of the critical current was observed due to magnetic pinning at temperatures close to the transition temperature. The results showed that at this temperature, the magnetic domain pinning dominated the defect induced pinning.
