Abstract

We report the first observation of the resonance-enhanced triplet-state Raman scattering in a molecular crystal. Specifically, the resonance-enhanced Raman scattering from the T1 state of naphthalene in the environment of the naphthalene:2(1,4-diiodotetrafluorobenzene) crystalline complex is observed by exciting into a hot band.
