Abstract

A modeling analysis of exchange coupling between the soft and hard magnetic layers, and the energy-barrier was presented. The correlation between the magnetic properties of the spring-magnet and the layer parameters was analyzed. The coercivity was found to increase due to the coupling between the hard layer and the soft layer.
