Abstract

The Ovation abdominal stent graft system is a unique polymer-based stent graft system for treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm. Unlike other stent grafts which use radial force of a self-expanding stent to achieve seal, the Ovation stent graft uses a polymer base sealing mechanism. Its special design poses unique challenges during case planning and deployment and can lead to complications distinct from other stent grafts. In this chapter, we discuss the characteristics of the Ovation stent graft and tips and techniques to prevent and to treat complications.
