Abstract
The properties of pure 4He droplets and of 3He atoms in droplets are studied within the manifestly microscopic Jastrow-Feenberg theory. Collective excitations of the droplet and the dynamic structure function are calculated, as well as the elastic, inelastic and absorption scattering cross sections for the scattering of 4He and 3He atoms off the droplet.
