Abstract
Because U. C. Irvine was that kind of school, it made the collective spirit of the festival easy. For example, Barbara Rose and I discussed how to do things without funding, as there was none! Barbara got free airline tickets for people to come from the East Coast. To our enormous pleasure Richard Hamilton flew out from England, and not only spoke, but volunteered to help on the exhibition's installation.
