Abstract

Diode-pumped laser operation of Yb, Tm:KY(WO4)2 aound 1.97 μm was discussed. With an increase of the Tm3+ concentration the emission wavelength shifted towards longer wavelength, which made rise of the reabsorption losses. Results showed that after 200 to 300 μs steady-state regime was observed with intensity fluctuation less than 10%.
