Abstract
Digital photogrammetry is rapidly evolving as a new subfield of photogrammetry. As the name implies, digital photogrammetry uses digital imagery as input instead of photographs. This requires a new tool to store, access and manipulate digital images. Digital photogrammetric workstations are the equivalent of stereoplotters and analytical plotters. They are the most significant product of digital photogrammetry. This article describes the workstations. By comparing them with analytical plotters, the advantages and drawbacks are discussed. -Author
