Abstract

Online digital music sharing and its influential factors on the software piracy are discussed. Online users with high speed connections are willing to pay a lower price for a compact disk than those with slower connections. Price of music and available bandwidth connections have a major impact on software piracy. The quality of compressed audio over Internet does not play any significant role in the behaviour of online users.
