Abstract
The temperature dependence of the piezoresistance was investigated for p-type germanium with resistivities rho //3//0//0 equals 40, 16, and 0. 02 OMEGA multiplied by (times) cm in the temperature range 77-300 degree K. The anisotropy of the dispersion of light and heavy holes was taken into account in the interpretation of the experimental data and in the calculation of the deformation potential constant d. The results are presented and discussed.
