Abstract
The paper presents some results of the research connected with the developpement of new approach based on, datamining the bulk and shear modulus fo carbide and nitride metals transition. Principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares (PLS), an informatics techniques, have been applied to predict new miltilayers ultra hard coatings materials.
