Abstract

The laser properties of Yb:KYW active media with different concentration of Yb were compared. This active media was prepared by the modified Czochralski technique from solution in K2W2O7 melt. The average output power for the 20% Yb sample in Q-switching regime was about two times less than the CW regime.
