Abstract

Defect dynamics of cement paste in the elastic regime was studied using electrical resistivity measurement. Measurement of the resistivity in the stress direction (longitudinal resistivity) and perpendicular to the stress direction (transverse resistivity) was also performed. The results showed that the defect diminution causes the resistivity in both directions to decrease.
