Abstract

The corrosion of steel reinforcing bars in steel-reinforced concrete limits the life of concrete structures. To prevent this, corrosion control methods are used. The methods and materials for corrosion control concrete are studied. The methods involve steel surface treatment, the use of admixtures in concrete, surface coating on concrete, and cathodic protection.
