Abstract

The initial author, Christopher P. Brown, regrets two mistakes in attributions in the published version of this article: First, in Figure 1, on p. 183, when detailing the handout I employed for this study, some of the questions came from Dr. Jennifer Adair. Specifically, I should have attributed these phrases to her: How does the app satisfy the following criteria: Be detailed! 1. Spark children's interest/curiosity about a topic. 2. Gather content/information without an adult. 5. Demonstrate knowledge. What kinds of topics could this app be used for; What elements of the app make it compelling and beneficial especially for young children. What languages can be used with the app? Rate the app (out of 5 stars): 1. Curiosity. 2. Content. 5. Demonstrate. Second, when I mention investigating the topic of the Human Body and students giving presentations on p. 186, I should have attributed this topic to her. Christopher P. Brown would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and wishes to be clear these attribution oversights were made by him and does not involve his co-authors, Dr. Joanna Englehardt and Heather Mathers.
