Abstract

We have succeeded to control the crystalline structure of MoTe2 crystals from 2H structure by focused-green laser irradiation. The structural change has been confirmed by Raman scattering spectroscopy. Consequently, the electrical property changed from semiconducting to metallic. These techniques would be useful to fabricate a monolithic electronics within a TMDC crystal for future flexible devices application.
