Chemical potential of pairs in long and short microbridges

Abstract

Current-voltage characteristics of microbridges with length long and short compared to the coherence length have been studied. Microprobes implanted inside the bridge region reveal information about interactions between neighboring phase slip centers and fluctuation-induced broadening of the pair average potential step.
