Cement-matrix composites for thermal engineering

Abstract

Cement-matrix composites are investigated for thermal engineering. Temperature sensing, Joule heating and heat retention are analyzed. These composites contain admixtures such as short electrically conducting fibers and silica fume, so that the electrical and/or thermal properties are modified.
