Abstract

This article details the chemistry of manganese carbonyl (Mn-CO) and isocyanide (Mn-CNR) complexes, from 2005 through 2020, with a focus on synthesis and reactivity. This article does not cover the chemistry of Mn–CO/CNR cyclic and non-cyclic pi complexes because these are covered in a different chapter. Similarly, applications are covered in a different chapter and therefore applications are only briefly discussed herein.
