title = "Backflow-assisted sequential injection in vacuum-driven power-free microfluidic device",
abstract = "This paper reports a simple method for backflow-assisted sequential injection in vacuum-driven power-free microfluidic devices. The key idea is to utilize passive valving structures, in order to control pinning, merging, and backflow of liquids under the vacuum-driven power-free pumping, resulting in the sequential injection of multiple liquids. Backflow direction can be well controlled using the the valving structures and the liquid volume and size.",
