Abstract

The focus of this paper is on the development of a software for the automation of the design of model predictive controllers. The proposed technique uses the collocation method to transform the differential equation of the plant to constraints for the optimization problem. An user-friendly interface permits inclusion of control and state constraints after the system equations and cost functions have been defined. The proposed technique is illustrated via two benchmark problems.
