Abstract

In the P(φ)₂ model it is proved that the perturbation series for the infinite volume Schwinger functions S(λ) are asymptotic in the limit as the coupling constant λ goes to zero. We also give conditions which imply smoothness of S(λ) at arbitrary λ.
