Abstract

This paper presents experimental results obtained with the Forstner interest operator applied in an automatic orientation system. The orientation uses a feature-based, hierarchical matching approach. In order to obtain maximum possible accuracy for conjugate points, a precise point matching scheme is employed. With the approximations obtained from matching edges interest points are determined in conjugate image patches with the Forstner interest operator. -from Authors
