Abstract

An algorithm is presented for the computation of pair correlation functions of hard spheres and hard sphere mixtures in the Percus-Yevick approximation. The method is a recursive modification of that originally proposed by Perram [1], It is very fast, with a computation time of order (N), where N is the number of points at which the correlation function is to be evaluated.
