Abstract
Antitachycardia pacing has markedly expanded our ability to better treat patients with frequent VT episodes and has permitted discontinuation of antiarrhythmic therapy in many patients. Continued improvements in detection modes that will permit better differentiation of VT from supraventricular tachycardias should expand the application of this already successful modality.
