A superior Fe/ZSM-5 catalyst for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitric oxide with ammonia

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

An Fe/ZSM-5 catalyst was used for selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide with ammonia. It was found that Fe-ZSM-5 prepared by aqueous ion exchange have higher activities than that prepared by solid state exchange and sublimation of FECl3. The x-ray diffraction analysis showed that although the iron source was FECl3, after calcination, the excess iron species became iron oxides. A strong line at g=4.3 was observed on Fe-ZSM-5 prepared by aqueous ion exchange.
