Abstract
Using exact one- and two-body ground state densities as inputs, a parameter-free dynamic structure function for 4He clusters is constructed on the basis of the Feynman ansatz. To the extent that collective excitations are well described by the Feynman theory, this structure function should be quantitatively exact at low energies and qualitatively correct at energies comparable to the maxon/roton regime in bulk 4He.
