Abstract

The structure of the title compound, C₅₈H₆₄N ₂S₂, is primarily dictated by intermolecular van der Waals interactions of the didecyl chains attached to the bithiophene backbone. These interactions result in torsional strain on the aromatic plane, which disrupts conjugation.
